This is Jiaren Family’s first time to collaborate with Bikram Yoga Mountain View to host a Yoga practice events. Our teacher this time is Cynthia Wehr. Cynthia Wehr has been practicing yoga for 15 years and became a Bikram Yoga Teacher in Spring 2003. She earned the USA and World Yoga Champion title in 2007. This gave her the opportunity to travel the world to teach and demonstrate. She spent a lot her time teaching in Tokyo, Japan for Bikram Yoga Japan and in Bikram Yoga San Jose until June 2011.
Since majority of our attendees for this event are beginners for hot yoga, Cynthia prepared a detailed introduction for Jiaren members at the very beginning to prepare our mind and body.
Let’s have a look of our event:
Hot yoga in particular has become very popular, as aficionados say the heat helps achieve deeper stretches and boosts heart rate to add a stronger cardio component than might be found in a class taught at room temperature. Hot yoga, which is taught in rooms heated to temperatures up to 105 degrees, is not for the faint of heart and even athletes believe it’s one of the most challenging workouts out there. Yoga is open to practitioners of all levels and anyone can get benefits from a regular practice, but especially with hot classes, preparation is the key.
